Changing from Paypal to direct debit

Changing from Paypal to direct debit

As of the 1st October 2020, we will no longer be accepting payment by cheque and paypal. Instead customers who normally use these methods can opt to pay by direct debit, if paying in person is not suitable.

Contactless payment system

Existing customers can opt to pay in person, or pay their service charge by Direct Debit.

For all new accounts taken on, we will only be accepting payment by Direct Debit.

Reason for the Change

Adapting to customer habits

Less and less of our customers carry cash and are opting to pay electronically, however the existing systems (paypal, cheque) were never intended or suitable for large volumes of payments.

Reducing unsociable working hours

At current our staff work between the hours of 8am to 6pm, and call back to customers they don’t get in after 6pm.

The changes we have made will reduce evening collections and improve the working conditions for our staff.
